Military Reportedly Burns Motorbikes Whatsapp
Calm is yet to return to the city of Bamenda, after suspected separatists allegedly dumped the head of a man, reported to be a soldier, in a neighbourhood, called Azire.

This was accompanied by gunshots which saw many packing up their goods, along Hospital Roundabout to Mile 90. Stores around Ntarinkon, Commercial Avenue and Food Market immediately closed down.

According to eyewitnesses, citizens were in panic immediately the incident occurred and tried to get to a safe zone due to a previous incident that led to a retaliation from the military, which caused lives and injuries on the part of the population.

The military is said to have come for the said head (which has not yet been identified), and caused havoc on the streets, just as anticipated by citizens. As a result, over three motorbikes were burnt down, along with a car. Beheading the enemy, seems to be a new norm for separatists.

Months ago, armed separatists dropped a human head in Travelers, Bamenda. This led to an immediate shutdown of economic activities. The military embarked on a raid in some areas of that quarter and shot most youths on their legs. A woman, accused of selling food to armed separatists was also shot, but most survived their wounds thanks to the efforts of Doctors Without Borders, who were prompt in handling their cases.

The military has often accused civilians of working in collaboration with these separatists, also called Amba Boys. Civilians on their part, say they are torn between respecting government orders and disrespecting injunctions placed by Amba Boys.

For a while now, Bamenda has been a little bit calm, except for the fact that kidnappings remained on the increase.
Horrible Pictures of the kidnapped Proprietor of a Secondary School, kidnapped few days ago, are now circulating on social media, with the latter, showing signs of torture.
