Cameroon – Anglophone Crisis: One Killed, At Least Two Wounded, Three Motorbikes Burnt In Bamenda

The damaged corpse of 35 year old Ndinga Denis, lies on the road in Mile 90 Bamenda, along with some three motorbikes set on fire.

  

Eyewitnesses recount that military stormed the area this Thursday May 23, and shot indiscriminately at the population who were about carrying out their daily activities this morning.

Denis, who is a bricklayer by profession was shot on the head while on a bike. Other two persons shot by the military, are said to have ran away and no one knows where they are and if they have received medical attention.

While he laying dead on the road, in a pool of his blood, the victim carries a black plastic paper. No one has been brave enough to check what he was carrying due to the gruesome image of the corpse.

This incident comes two days after the head of Wountai Olivier, teacher at GBHS Nitop, Bamenda was dripped on the street by armed separatists. His kidnappers mistook him for a soldier and he was beheaded. North West governor, Adolphe Lele Lafrique, has announced that investigations have been opened to retrieve the body parts of the deceased and punish the perpetrators.

Government soldiers and separatists, continue to make life unbearable to the population of the North West and South West with their violent activities.
