Since Tuesday night, gun shots were heard all over Andek, in Ngie subdivision, Momo division in the Northwest region. Denizens got up early Wednesday to find the Principal of Government High School Andek, Sango Mathew Anjue lying critically injured.

He was certainly shot during an all night battle between Amabzonai fighters and Military. What remains unclear is who shot him and for what reasons.

Sango Mathew was later declared dead according to sources. His evacuation for better medical attention was a daring attempt.

Just like him another school administrators was shot dead early Wednesday in Meme division.  The Senior Discipline Master of Government Bilingual High School, Kosala, Ashu Thomas Nkongho was shot dead by unknown men at about 8 AM.

According to information gathered, Thomas Ashu was in his office when he heard cries from a student who had been shot by two men onboard a bike, as he stepped out to find out, he was shot on the head, rushed to the Kumba District Hospital where he died.

Immediately after the incident, soldiers invaded the campus as teachers and students ran into bushes while parents stormed the premises to take their children home.

This incident took place in the absence of the principal, Mwelle Kunz Mbai, an alternate Senator who was in Yaoundé to witness the opening session of the Senate.
