Charlene Egbe, popularly known in the entertainment industry as MC Charlene, has been adjudged the best Master of Ceremony (MC) and event host at the 2020 Muzikol Music Awards (MUMA) over the weekend in Douala.

The Norway-based Cameroonian star international MC and event host outshined the likes of Vicky Fokala to lift the Best MC/Host crown.

Otherwise referred to as the Energy Goddess, MC Charlene has hosted events for several African stars including J Martins, Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Bracket, Stonebwoy, Iyanya, Tekno, Diamond Platnumz, Olamide, Flavour, Mr. P, Fally Ipupa.

Her sterling qualities as MC have been praised at events in countries like Belgium, Germany, Norway, Italy, Turkey, Sweden, and Austria, fetching her several awards.

MC Charlene has also hosted the Made in Cameroon Music Festival in Maryland/USA for popular Cameroonian artists such as M. Leo, Magasco, Stanley Enow, Minks, and many more.

She hosted The Scandinavia Afrobeats Music Awards in Stockholm Sweden and starred as the lone female MC at the biggest Urban Music Festival in the Netherlands in the summer of 2019.

The Energy Goddess was Red Carpet host at the 2018 Bonteh Digital Media Awards in Cameroon. The same year, she hosted no fewer than 30 shows and toured more than 14 cities across the world.

She ranks as one of the biggest female MCs/Hosts in Europe and Scandinavia and has plans of getting bigger, better, and taking Cameroon to higher heights in the domain of entertainment.

MC Charlene was named MC of the Year at the 2019 Scandinavia Afrobeats Music Awards, SAMA Awards.

The Best MC/ Host of the Year award from the 2020 Muzikol Music Awards is just another feather on the crown of MC Charlene.

The Muzikol Music Award is designed not just for artists but is also an avenue to recognize the talented professionals who work behind the scenes, making music alongside artists. MUMA is developed to give the Cameroonian and Africa entertainment industry hope and reclaim African awards for well-deserved African artists, experts say.

The emergence of MC Charlene as the MUMA 2020 winner in the category of Best MC and Host did not come to many as a surprise, especially to those who have been following her growth in the entertainment industry. She was the only MC nominated outside Cameroon.
