Cameroons President Paul Biya has congratulated himself for staying in power for over 30 years saying that it is because of the successes that his regime has recorded so far.
Paul Biya made the remarks which were followed by thunderous applauds, during the meeting with Business Men in Italy during the State visit.
The President while addressing attendees said, “The country, Cameroon, is stable, it is even rare today to find a government which has lasted for over 30 years, it is the case of Cameroon…”
The Head of State is confident the putting in place of structures to combat corruption will sweep away all corrupt individuals making Cameroon an Eldorado.
President Paul Biya told his Italian Counterpart and Italian Business men that the Business climate is very conducive for trade and will be ameliorated as time goes on.
On Tuesday March 21, 2017, the Head of State told his Italian counterpart that the Anglophone problem is not a big deal because dialogue is already underway. he insisted that dialogue will only be done within the ambits of the constitution and which will not tamper with national unity.
The Three day State visit ends this Wednesday March 22, 2017.
