Three persons have died in Bonapriso, Douala one municipality following the collapse of a wall in the early hours of Monday March 20, 2017.
The incident occurred when the wall of a house still undergoing construction collapsed while workers were in the process of digging the foundation.
This cost the lives of Matthew 49, Honore 27 and Geogi Foka 19.One person died on the spot and two others later died in the hospital. Their corpses have been deposited at the Morgue of the Laquintini hospital. Three other persons were injured.
Catherine MABIH, a neighbor to the house whose section was greatly affected told reporters that she suspected the house could collapse at any moment but was told by owner not bother. Signs of wear and tear were already visible with cracks and holes but nothing concrete was done about it.
Security forces that came to the scene of incident have opened investigation.
