"Greetings. Many of you may have been aware of what is currently going on in the two provinces of Southern Cameroons. "

My dear brothers and sisters:

Greetings. Many of you may have been aware of what is currently going on in the two provinces of Southern Cameroons. This is a problem that was created by the francophone political elites through deceptions and mechanizations from the moment the people of Southern Cameroons in good faith and love decided to form a political union of equal partnership through the path of reunification in October 1961 with the Republic of Cameroon . Since 1972 when through an illegal referendum the federation was abolished and the people of Southern Cameroons relegated to being 3rd class citizens and every symbol of their identity as a people and a nation summarily destroyed or confiscated by the francophone administration, the people of Southern Cameroons have remained peaceful. All peaceful efforts for redress and dialogue have either been ignored or met with violent repressions, intimidation and all forms of abuses on their basic human rights. They injected a divide and rule policy to keep us apart with the belief that we will never come together to form a force of resistance. In all these actions the francophone political elites and the francophone intellectuals have misinformed you our brothers and sisters and deceived you to misunderstand the evil against southern Cameroons and southern cameroonians, pushing you to either be indifferent or take a hostile view to the claims and plight of Southern Cameroonians. This has got us to where we are today and put you, us and the entire region at a very heavy risk of a situation we might not be able to control. You can only inflict pains on a people for so long and a time will certainly come when they will stand up and say enough is enough.

I come to you to appeal to the better angels in you as a people. Hoping you will understand and hold your deceptive and abusive political elites responsible for their crimes against your southern Cameroons brothers and sisters. It is today up to you. You can stand up against evil, hold your political elites accountable so we can together avoid a sad situation or you can continue being indifferent, collaborate with the sins of your political elites and watch what will unfold. By supporting the cause of Southern Cameroons you will be saving yourselves and holding those responsible for this carnage accountable. The choice is yours. I say this to you with brotherly love.
