A release from the Mezam High Court Wednesday afternoon said due to the fact that they are bereaved and will be accompanying one of their colleagues to the ‘Journey of no return’, there shall be no court case as a result. The release further states that those who had cases should consult the board to have updates when they will finally be heard.
Wednesday’s release means the case between Catholic Bishops will no more hold this Friday as planned.
The announcement to postpone the unprecedented case which had caught national attraction with wagging tongues swearing that the Catholic Church cannot be dragged in the mud by anybody.
Archbishop Samuel KLEDA, President of National Episcopal Conference had maintained that the Catholic Church was not responsible for the stalemate in the Anglophone crisis.
The ‘Consortium of Parents’ through their legal representative is demanding the sum of 150.000.000 FCFA as special and general damages.

In a release through his legal Counsel,retired Colonel Tamabang says he is not part of the said Consortium of Parents which dragged some Catholic Bishops to court.The communique says, "Our Client retired Colonel Tamabang Simon NCHE wishes to state publicly and categorically that he is not connected in any way to the so called CONSORTIUM OF PARENTS.He has never contacted any lawyer or bailiff to initiate court acion against the above mentioned servants of Gods."
