Despite calls by parents whose children study at Bilingual Grammar School, BGS Molyko Buea for the registration deadline of 2017 GCE examinations, the school’s Principal, Hannah Mbua Etonde has refused to do so.

Even though Anglophone teachers are on industrial strike, the newly appointed Principal to the school has told students that the deadline will expire on Tuesday December 10, 2016 and will not be extended.

According to the Weekly English Newspaper, The Rambler Hannah Mbua Etonde has clearly mapped out the school from late registration despite the fact that French examinations, Baccalaureate has been pushed to January 27 that of GCE has not been extended.

Observers say her move could be understood as confirmation of accusations of complicity with oppressors in the current face-off between the government and teachers.

Anglophone teachers strike according to students in BGS Molyko is doing more harm to their studies and that if care is not taken, the percentage pass this year will significantly reduce.
