Cameroon Indomitable Lions’ defender Nicolas N’Koulou who plays for French first division club side, Olympique de Marseille has ruled out leaving Marseille in January by vowing to stay and help his club improve their current poor state.
Marseille recorded one of its worst performances ever during the just ended group games of the 2013/2014 champions league season. They lost all six group matches, including two against Arsenal.
"I am not a coward, I am not happy with what I have shown today. I could not leave like this," he told France Football.
"I owe a lot to this club which have trusted in me. It is important for me to get back on track and put the record straight before considering a departure."
"I owe a lot to l’OM who made me make a name for myself. It is very important for me to find again my best level first."
The 23-year-old defender, reports say, apart from arsenal, has also been linked with European champions Bayern Munich.
