This was one of the major resolutions arrived at in Bamenda, North West region last Saturday April 21, 2018 during a meeting grouping members of the National Executive Committee, NEC.
The SDf also holds the Biya regime responsible for the escalation for the Anglophone crisis into a full blown civil war by not paying attention to what they described as legitimate claims by the people of the two Anglophone regions, insisting that the Anglophone crisis is the handwork of the Biya regime.
Members of NEC equally condemned what they called collective punishment meted on the people of the two regions as well as extortion of money from those arrested.
They ended by calling on the Head of State to put an end to the war he personally declared with counterproductive measures he instituted.
On the life of the party, NEC members congratulated SDF newly elected Senators in the North West region in the recent Senatorial elections but were also worried on the factions that have been created; hence some members were appointed to constitute a Commission of inquiry which will look into issues raised during campaigns and election proper, especially irregularities and illegalities.
They also congratulated every militant for a smooth organization of the party’s 9th Congress and 3rd extraordinary Congress held in Bamenda last February.
